Architectural Review Committee:
This is a standing committee within the Stony Creek Ridge Homeowners' Association to review requests for exterior home remodeling and landscaping improvement projects. These requests are reviewed to ensure compliance with the stated bylaws as well as the visual harmony and beauty of Stony Creek Ridge is maintained. Homeowners derive the benefit of increased property values as a result. Applications for Architectural changes are available by submitting a request by using the contact form on the home page. These submitted requests will be reviewed by the committee and responded to within 15 days of receipt. Finance Committee: This committee provides financial oversight of the association and advises the Board of Directors on financial matters. The committee proposes the annual budget to the Board and consults on strategic issues with financial implication. The annual budget is presented at the Homeowners meeting annually in October. In addition to collection of dues and monitoring bank accounts, this committee also reviews insurance policies and maintains a cash reverse account for unforeseen expenses. Financial records are available to all homeowners upon request through our Treasurer Dan Lambert. Please leverage the contact form on the homepage and use the option of Dues Status Letter. Communications Committee: This committee was formed in 2020 with the focus on improving the information sharing with the residents of the Stony Creek Ridge association through the use of technology. As a result, the committee has refreshed the association website content and implemented an email notification program. To be added to email contact list for future newsletters and email updates, please register by submitting the request below. Pool & Clubhouse Committee: This committee provides oversight and management of the association's pool and clubhouse operations. For more information related to the Pool & Clubhouse, please see that page on our website. |
Landscape Committee:
A group of volunteers dedicated to maintaining the appearance and infrastructure of our subdivision. They make sure that the entrances are pristine, the clubhouse grounds are immaculate, and the common areas are taken care of. More specifically, on an ongoing basis the Landscape Committee makes sure that the grass is cut, trimmed, and fertilized; trees and shrubs are shaped, pruned, and trimmed; sidewalks are plowed and salted; flowers are planted and watered; mulch is laid; ponds are treated; fountains are installed in the spring and removed in the fall; mailboxes and street signs are repaired when damaged; and they make sure that sprinklers work and the lights stay on. Periodically, the Landscape Committee undertakes major projects like cutting down trees infested with the emerald ash borer; repairing sidewalks along Runyon, Dequindre, and Parkdale and in the common areas; and dredging ponds and installing fountains. If you are aware of a problem or have a service request or, if you would like to join the Landscape Committee, please complete the contact form on the home page of our website. Your submission will be reviewed by the Landscape Committee Chairperson who will respond within three (3) business days on what action, if any, will be taken. Social Committee: We hope we can once again start planning social events in the near future when the pandemic and government guidelines allow. Feel free to contact Jennifer Donovan if you have ideas for social events). Upcoming Subdivision Social Events The below are examples of fun we've had in the past which hopefully we will be able to bring back this year!
